Problem on bootup of SparcUltra10

Comment:
I have a Sun Ultra10 with Solaris 2.6 installed and boots up and runs without any problem. Someone borrowed the machine and replaced the harddisk.
Upon returning the machine and attaching my old harddisk, this is where my problem comes in.
During bootup, the machine would complain that:
"The file just loaded does not appear to be executable".

The problem is due to an installed hardware on your machine which is not compatible with the machine. Try disconnecting any external hardware devices, and just try booting with your internal disk....

Hi Ed,
There are no external devices installed.
I was just wondering why is it before they have changed the harddisk it was booting up properly and after they have installed the original harddisk the problem arised.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi Jay,
Try this. Before turning on your Ultra10 press the combination [STOP] + [N] and while keeping pressed turn on the computer. Keep them pressed until you get the image in your monitor. In this way the firmware variables will be reset to the default values (suppozing you didn't modify anything). If Ultra10 doesn't reboot when you reinstall the old disk either your system use to boot from another partition then (a) or your friend change the boot partition variable defined in firmware.
