I have slackware 7.1 and when ever i put my second network card in it recognizes it but then both the network cards do not work even when i disable the second when so if anybody knows how to solve the problem please tell me. Thanks

On Solaris, the ports used by an application are not freed up immediately if the process is killed (shuts down abnormally). Is there any utility to clean those up ? Those ports are freed up after about a minute but that much delay is not acceptable in our case.

Please help !
