Please tell me in detail how to install unix with my existing OS(Win98)and also without deleting my existing data(i.e. i don't want to format my hardisk).Please which O.S(Unix/Linux)supports GUI(Graphical User Interfce).I want to install one that supports GUI.My hardisc is of 20GB. Since i'm new to this O.S, so please tell me any site which could provide free e-books or free tutorials.

Easiest solution is to get a Linux distro like Red Hat or Mandrake. They are both fairly user friendly (Mandrake moreso). They both have a GUI. http://www.mandrake.com http://www.redhat.com

bith UNIX and Linux come with GUI, it all depends onw hat u want to use it for. just make a seperate partion and install unix/linux in it. www.caldera.com for more details.
