Comment:

hi,
i installed linux on my system this week, i just worked out how to get the java virtual machine onto it but i can't write any code because i have keyboard problems.

Some keys are different, and crucially, i can't get an inverted comma for strings. I can get something that looks like it but the compiler doesn't like it. The keyboard is a standard one (usb), and i've tried usb and ps2 but still no luck.
Do i need some driver or am i in american mode or something??

Can anyone help???

thanks
