Hi,

I have a problem in listing files. Any help is appreciated.

How to list all the files having file names starting with P123 or p123 or 123?

Need a syntax like the following:
ls [Pp]123*

Can not use something like :
ls [Pp]123* 123*

Thank you.
-Sree

Thanks for the reply Devraj...

But the issue is... the directory can contain files like t123*, r123* etc. also.

I need to list all the file names that start only with P123, p123 and 123 - using only one parameter to ls.

I tried the following...but it is not working:

ls [Pp^]123*

Thank you
