I am running Redhat 6.1 and recently added a second hard drive. I want to move my swap file to the new drive. I created a partition for the swap file and inside of fdisk made it a swap partition. However, when I boot up the computer the swap fails. How do I fix this?

did you use command "mkswap" to make your swap partition? and did you correct your /etc/fstab file, so that when it is booting the system will auto-mount your swap partition? Please check this up.
