Comment:

I have a second 3Gb hard drive that i want to install this old version of Red Hat onto. I have formatted it using XP Pro, which shows it as empty - but when I begin the Red Hat install, and it asks me to set up partitions, it shows this 3Gb hard drive as being full, with no room for Linux. Any ideas on how I get Linux to recognise it as empty, and hence allow the install ? The second HD is set up as master with the CD ROM as slave - that was the only way to get Linux to even see the 2nd hard drive.
Thanks in advance,
Mark

Which version of RH do you want to set up?

I think this might be a problem with the NTFS-format. Try do format the HDD with the RH installation assistent. It should work!
