I have a dual intel L44OBX motherboard that im trying to load solaris8 on, but i cannot even get the bios to pop onto the screen when the keyboard is plugged in. here is my problem: when the keyboard is plugged in nothing comes to the screen, when i unplug it and reboot, the bios reads both processors/ram/etc and procceds to load my OS but as soon as it comes to a point where i need to hit a key: i cant because i dont have a keyboard attached? i can't even enter the BIOS or even load an OS because i dont have a Keyboard attached? ive even tried it with a usb keyboard. ive tried setting resetting the jumpers and the people at intel dont even know whats up? any ideas on how to get my system to come up with the keyboard would greatly help. thanks (hopefully my question makes sense?)
