Comment:

Im just getting to grips with unix and was wondering how to install kde on solaris 9. I have been to the kde.org website and read the docs etc, is there an easier way to do it rather than ftp - like some kind of package install from the command line?

I would really appreciate some help/advice with this!

Thanks
Neil

There is a KDE package for Solaris 9 that can be found on the companion cd downloads at http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/freeware/s9pkgs_download.html
