Hi babyzhou,
I'm not familiar with AIX but: 1. unzip the file: gzip (?) -d lsof.4.76.tar.Z 2. untar the result: tar -xvpf lsof.4.76.tar in a directory of your choice. From within that directory you should be able to install lsof (sorry don't know anything about AIX installation processes, it probably is not rpm-format or anything like that, maybe an install script or something like that)
cheers
Wollie
