Hi,

Could you please guide me how to make the "rexecd" service up on Linux server?

My server details are ( with uname -a ) command.
Linux mclinux 2.4.21-27.EL #1 Wed Dec 1 22:08:15 EST 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

I could find entry for rexecd as /usr/sbin/in.rexecd

Actually, I am trying to run a command from AIX server on this Linux machine (host)using "rexec" utility as:

rexec <Linux IP> "ls -ltr"

But, its not responding..
I also checked .netrc file in $HOME/ dir, it seems to be proper.

Please guide!

Shamim Ahmad
