for mount cdrom you have to use:
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom
and for floppy
mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy, or if you have record about these two devices, you can use mount /dev/cdrom or mount /mnt/cdrom ...
and how to show the files? siply "ls -la /mnt/cdrom" ...
