Hi there.. Masters of Unix/Linux
i have a very simple ,and short question, and i hope you will be able to answer it for me .
i just started to think that i need to know this Unix/Linux world and stop being a windows user who doesn't know how anything works ... in other words, i'm still baby and i need help, well..no no not a baby yet ,i'm still not born :), anyway :
1- where do i start , where can i download Unix O.S
2- for a beginner like me, do u think i should start with unix or linux ?if they are not the same
3- if u have anything useful for me that i didn't ask about ,plz be kind and tell me :)

Have a look at the linux documentation project. http://www.tldp.org/

Have a look at http://distrowatch.com/ for information on locating linux flavors. Give the Redhat Fedora project a try. You could also look at one of the live eval CDs which allow you to run linux without installing anything.
