Home key mapping under Solaris 2.5.1

Hi, I've been trying to map the HOME key as C-A to make it work under tcshell. I've tryed bindkey and xmodmap but to no avail. Tcshell seems to ignore xmodmap mappings whereas bindkey maps the HOME key correctly as C-A in my Linux system but not under Solaris. It however maps the Del key correctly (pure madness).
Anybody has come this across before.
PS. Yes, I know I can get used to C-A given time... :-)
