hi there!i need some guidance on solving the following problem:

i required to write a c shell script which will search for a file and then print out its location if its found.Eg:

./search file.txt
tile txt located in root/mydoc/name/file.txt

P.S: no "find" and "whereis" command can be use

Hi:

If you can't use find, do a recursive search with the ls -R command.

thanks for the reply, though can u explain more on the recursive search?meaning where to implement and how to implement it?i'm just a beginer in the C Shell script
