Hi i need some help!!
i need to ftp files from remote machine but before ftp i need to check the files which i am ftp'ing are 8 days old and the dates of file should not be changed when it is ftp'ed

can we keep the same date ? if yes how ?

appreciate for any help

look at rcp or rsync. Probably the dates of the files will be modified during ftp.
