How do i send using ftp or by any method to send unix file to local drive(i.e c:\) from UNix command line and vice versa.
my requirement is to pull the files from the UNix adnd format usinga tool which is runnning on win-nt and place it back to Unix.your help is greatly appriciated

In a DOS command window:
cd (to desired directory)
ftp
open myserver
(enter unix username)
(enter password)
cd (to desired unix directory)
type ascii
get myfile1
get myfile2
mget myfile3 myfile4 myfile5
help
bye
You can push it back to the unix server with the put or mput command.
