fsck options

When I check my file system with fsck, I want it NOT to answer 'no' for all the questions. There is an option that makes it answer 'yes' for all the questions, but it doesn't work (fsck -y /usr). Can anbody suggest something?

You are running fsck against a mounted filesystem. Read the man page for the unix version you are using and run it against the device on which the filesystem is built. The filesystem should not be mounted when the command is run.
