Hello,

I got NT5 installed on a 20 gig. HDD on the prim. IDE Cntrlr. set as MASTER. (IDE 0)

I got FreeBSD installed on 10 gig. HDD on the prim. IDE Cntrlr. set as SLAVE. (IDE 1)

I have read the docs comming with FreeBSD and the ones on it's site, it sais somting that is either hard to understand for me or incorrect because FreeBSD overwrites NT's MBR after i have selected FreeBSD to boot from NT's bootmanager, ironicly seen that may be a good thing to be happening but it is not what i want because there's a nother user on this machine.

does annyone know the procedure to dual boot with NT or maybe even to boot FreeBSD from floppy disk. Booting fromfloppy is not an option during the installation in my version of FreeBSD, it's a slim one. I just hope some can help me out ...

Michimindo
