I am trying to research various solutions for NIC failover in hardware or network failure situations for Solaris 2.6,2.7. So far I have found ZYNX RAINlink technology. I have not been able to find any other solutions. Most network failures are handled at the switch level. I want something either hardware or software or both, that will detect if a NIC fails or loses connectivity and switch to an alternate NIC. Anyone know of anything out there?
