Creating user in AIX 5.2

Hi, I need to create a user in AIX 5.2 using SMIT. The problem is the user is getting created in /dev/hdisk1 filesystem. But i want to create the user on another file system. How to do that? Thanks

hi, why would you want to create a user in another partition or hard drive? if your root partition is on hdisk1 thats it man....... you have to create a user where the passwd file is........
