Reply: (edit)HTML already can be opened in word... PostScript can be loaded as image into word and PDF cannot be used with word.. if you need to edit PDF or (E)PS files, U can use adobe illustrator or Adobe acrobat, but it is likely unconfortable.. (it is good to modyfiing just some small thinks...

Reply: (edit)Well that solution work but it is valid for only one page and sometimes the order of the text is completly wrong... I think what that person is looking for (and what I am also looking for) is a tool to convert a complete file, not just one page of that file

Reply: (edit)Hi People, I have a possible solution, from Adobe itself. If you have a PDF file, chances are that you downloaded it from the Internet? If so, then you can just post the URL from where you downladed the file and get an "online" conversion done into HTML. This service is FREE and is provided at http://access.adobe.com/simple_form.html Hope this helps !

Reply: (edit)I think the easiest way to complete this task is by printing, scanning and converting with OCR. If anyone wants to develop a program to do this conversion it would have to keep in mind automation: First the PDF has to be converted to a TIFF file. This file will be used by the OCR software to build the DOC file. Check this site for a PDF to TIFF convertor tool: http://konvertor.free.fr/ and you can also visit http://www.planetsourcecode.com/xq/ASP/txtCodeId.22932/lngWId.1/qx/vb/scripts/ShowCode.htm for an introduction to OCR programming in VB. I hope this helps you all.

Reply: (edit)Well there is a web site named Convert Zone. The URL address is : http:\\www.wisdom2000.net\convertzone\products.htm Go to that site and download any converter you want PDF2TXT, PDF2HTM etc. They offer you a demo download. How to make that copy work is your headache. Good Luck Zafar
