Please can someone tell me how to configure my computer so I can connect to it with telnet. I am running mandrake 6.0. I haven't changed any of the default etc files. Everytime I try to login, I get a message saying the connection was dropped or something to that effect.I don't know what to do. Please help

When do you get that message, after you enter username and password? Do you have any problem logging in with that username/password directly on the machine itself?
