Hi,

I am able to connect & run my applications on solaris server. Connection details are as below,

- "/etc/hosts" having details about NT to which other windows(98) machines r connected
- subnetmask of both NT & Solaris same.
- first thiree nos of NT & windows wk stations r same.

All machines connected thru hub (8-port)

How I would be able to,

- 'rsh' from the Solaris machine to the NT machine and pipe the
task manager results to a UNIX file

- access files on my NT or Windows wk stations from solaris machine.

- I had my SQL7.0 DB on NT, is it possible that other windows machines can run my application or program (in java or perl) to access db on NT? how I can do it?

It will be very nice of u if u could send me the code & other n/w king details.

I dont know much about solaris & networking issues.

Regards

Don
