just a quick question, writen a script in unix, but have been doing it through a windows terminal server to acces uni and using x-win through the terminal server to access unix, alot of messing i know. I have e-mailed my script back and have the file on my home pc but if i put it onto a windows formatted disk will a unix machine be able to read it? think that makes sence!
any advice always greatly appriciated!!!

Depends a bit on how you transferred the script from Unix to e-mail (e.g. Windows or Unix mail?)

However the worst that could happen would be that each line would gain a carriage return character (ASCII 13), which Unix generally ignores.
