Hi!

I have three CD-ROM drives on my computer (one of which is writable)

I'd like to know if there is a way to se Linux so it will automatically mount a CD when I put it in the drive, and automatically dismount it when I hit "Eject"?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Look for autofs...
This is not exactly what you want but it comes close to it.
The "vold" (Volume daemon) on Solaris does exactly what you want.
