Hi,
I just wanted to ask you experienced programmers which book I could use to learn C programming. I'm a novice at this language and barely know anything about it. I'd be deeply gratified if you could furnish me with some infomation.
Thank you
Mike

I just read _A Book on C_ by Kelly and Pohl, I think and found it a good introduction to the language - a little more in-depth than most I've seen but very clear; I'm suprised it wasn't used in my classroom. This one actually has the philosophy that you will be programming for a system (like DOS or Unix) and so doesn't tend to too much abstraction in its expositions.

Hi!

I got a project to simulate a processor written in C-code.

I've got a message from the compiler that I can't really understand.
"'GetFromMemory' : not all control paths return a value".

"GetFromMemory" is initilized to a int-function.
I do have multiple return, but the function never returns more than one "return".

The code is located here:
http://www.geocities.com/clan_grr/utopia/Bagaren/projekt_ver10.c

I really hope that someone can help me!
If you can figure it out so please mail me.

/Daniel Albertsson
