Hi, I was trying to change my bash prompt. I have freeBSD 5.2. I changed PS1 value in /etc/profile. Then I put it in ~/.profile and in ~/.bash_profile. When I start the system, the prompt is working as I customized it in text mode, but as soon as I go to X win (kde) and start console there, it gives me the default value of prompt again. Please, help. Thanks.

Regards,
Kiryl
