Comment:

I am trying to send SNMP traps from Web SM to a SNMP manager (Aprisma's Spectrum). It does not look like the command snmptrap is available for 5.1 and I'm not sure what to try next. I have tried using NetSNMP but that would require the replacement of the snmpd daemon on each server. Any ideas from individuals that may already have this implemented?

netsnmp 5.2.1 has some issues on AIX.
so If you are using netsnmp on AIX, you may face issues like I faced.

When I am calling init_Agent(), it throws segmentation fault error
