I was reading this today & the narrative took me back to my experience from around six years ago. I took a trip to the UK & got a suitcase filled with NFL type memorabilia for the friend I was spending time with & his family.

Needless to say, the package somehow got "lost" in transit & even though it later showed up at my door here in the US circa 10 months later. The energy, time & purpose of the gift was without a doubt redundant.

I wrote a letter thanking the Airline for their time & trouble. In their reply, it was stated that between their personnel & TSA, I should count myself lucky, I guess the underlining message was most folks never see their items resurface again :-(

I wasn't particularly satisfied with that assertion, but hindsight being 20/20, I could only laugh about the whole ordeal now after seeing the TSA parody from that site .... LOL!
