Mine is a 2003 2 door Suzuki Grand Vitara. You don't see many Chev's down in Oz.

2004 Volkswagen golf TDI (diesel)

I got the special injectors form Europe that give it more power, also got an in dash computer that controls the fly by wire accelerator with 2 profiles, one for super fast acceleration and one for economy. It goes from 0-60 in only 4 secs and has a top speed of 168. Best off all I got a 50 gallon tank in the back for veg oil and it runs on used grease fro free.

To Cody, you are one smart S.O.B to do that. I think it's so cool that diesels can run unmodified on used grease. I envy you.

Where do you get used grease? Fast food restaurants?

Volkswagens in general are very good cars. I myself am a Chrysler fan.

These cars are actually Nissan Pulsars with slightly different lights and trim. I only paid $1000(AU) for it, seems to be much more healthy than my old 1988 EA Ford Falcon:

"oh and jam, if ya dont want that Pontiac Sunbird i'll take it off your hands"

Sad story about the Sunbird. My brother-in-law worked as a mechanic & one of his customers gave him the car. It had a blown head gasket. He decided to fix it up & was gonna give it to my daughter...it was gonna be her 1st car. Unfortunately he had a terminal illness (leukemia) & passed away last year before it was complete :(

It's a long & involved story but one day early this year while I was working outside, a tow truck pulled up in front of my house - it was my bro's old boss. He said, "where do you want it?" (we had already talked about it & I'd told I didn't want it). He was fighting back the tears & said he really wanted my daughter to have it. I had no choice but to take it & it's been sitting in my driveway ever since. The body's good & it has a great top, but it needs tires, interior work & some major electrical work. It originally had a 4-banger w/carb & he'd replaced it with a fuel injected 4-banger. I know he had to completely change over the wiring harness, install the onboard computer & everything else that goes with it. He was in the process of troubleshooting the electrical problems.....
