Me?

Listening to an album called Raising Sand from Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.

Very calm, sweet...great stuff to listen to after getting home from work. Can't get over how remarkably controlled Plant sounds in this album!

Listening to "Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us" right now--with a big, relaxed, and probably goofy smile on my face. :P

What are you listening to?

How come so many techies are into listening to Metallica?
There is some weird music/activities association for which I can't see no explanation.

I did.

Brought home George Benson's Livin' Inside Your Love and Mika's Life in Cartoon Motion from a thrift store today. Two VERY different albums.

Really liked how Benson did Soulful Strut.
Cartoon Motion is just...strange (but very catchy).

Give me any old school rock / metal.

I like Metallica also, but always lean towards listening to their older material.

Give me anything from the 60's, 70's and early 80's like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd....... and I'm good to go.

For something of a more heavy flavour my favourite album has been for a long time "Metal Church - The Dark", the music is descent and the lead singer was one of the best vocalists I reckon I've heard.

I bought Shinedown's newest "The Sound of Madness" in early August when it was released. I've been playing it constantly on my iPOD and in the car. Sounds REALLY great when the top is down, and the sound just surrounds me. Awesome writing, harmonies, sound, and the lead singer is great. I just love it!

Fort Minor = Where'd You Go = Good Trance. One thing with Linkin Park though is: like Creed, their music tends to sound the same, albeit with different lyrics.

I listen to just about everything non-extreme ... right now, I just got done listening to Daughtry & Metro Station. Currently I'm listening to Graham Colton.

Great song and album! Bought the album today.

I like all music thats not too heavy (Dont like any genre with metal and/or death in its name)
I much prefer cruisy music opposed to heavier stuff, although sometimes I REALLY enjoy a bit of system of a down.

Right now I have a station called Big R radio - 70's radio. Atlanta Rhythm Section is playing currently. I mix in lots of different Genre.

I played guitar in a band called Raven back in the mid to late 80's. Had hair down to my butt, leather and spandex the hole nine yards. Yikes!! To think of dressing up like that now is so scary. We did mostley top 40 stuff but pretty much any of the 80's hair metal lol. If I had a nickel for everytime I had to play Sister Christian, man would I be well off.
