...and suggest the next upgrade.
Something fun for all the gear heads out there, I'll go first...
My Rig:
- Xeon E3110 @ 4.0 GHz (9 x 445) 1.33v
- 2 x 1GB Corsair DDR2 800C4 Pro @ 4-4-4-12 2.2v
- Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3
- XFX nVidia GTX 280 @ 675/1453/1300
- 2 x 320GB Seagate SATAII HDD (RAID1)
- Pioneer DVD-RW
- Thermaltake ToughPower 600W PSU
- Antec Titan Case
- BenQ V2400W LCDMOS 6510 rockin @ 1MHz!!!

OK, I see how this works. Yeah, well your PC is pretty sweet. Should be blazing with RAID and the GTX 280! I dunno, 8/10? Maby you should go 4gig of ram as a considered upgrade.
My Rig:
- C2D E4500 @ 2.8GHz
- 4 x 1GB DDR2 800 Kingston / Samsung
- Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
- ECS 9800GT 512MB
- 2 x 200GB & a 320GB HDD SATA
- LG DVD, LG CD-RW
- Cooler Master 550W
- A case I bought a long time ago.

Mattwizz3: 7.35620/10. Good machine!
Your super P3: 10/10. :P
Main System:
Dual core Opteron 185 @ 3.2GHz
Two 8800GTS cards
4GB PC3200
Blu-Ray
X-Fi Titanium Pro
A8N32-SLI Deluxe
Samsung 24" LCD
Vista 64 SP1

Heh, I was going to mention my super P3. I've been playing spore on it lately with most of the bells and whistles on. Somehow playing games on my P3 is more fun than on my main rig. The X1650Pro is really pushing it along nicely. I actually had a DUAL P3 rig in the plans but the motherboard I had my eye on went for $160!! Dont really understand why anyone would pay that for a P3 M/B.
I decided not to rate yours jackbomb because then I'd ruin the whole flow of the thread..... or someone could get stuck in a never ending loop.

Looks like you're pretty well covered except for maybe RAM. Are you able to run your DDR2-800 at 445MHz to match the CPU? You could add more RAM but if you're running a 32-bit OS, go with 1GB (2 x 512MB) to bring the total up to 3GB...don't bother with 4GB (4 x 1GB) as it won't all be recognized.
"Should be blazing with RAID"
RAID 1 is primarily used for data protection, not performance.
"If my answers frighten you then you should cease asking scary questions" - Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson) in Pulp Fiction

AH, my understanding of all the different types of RAID sucks.

"Maby you should go 4gig of ram as a considered upgrade."
Only a 32bit OS so it's not gonna make much of a difference. I really don't have any interest in Vista for the moment and Win XP x64 proved a tad troublesome. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, RAM runs at 1:1, hence the 2.2v, I probably should have mentioned that. Really don't think the extra 1GB would yeild a good performance to stuffing around ratio.
MOS 6510 rockin @ 1MHz!!!

If that last bit "MOS 6510 rockin @ 1MHz!!!" is yoour pc I give it a 1/10 simply because im not mean enough to give you a 0.
I only Batch if possible, 2000 more lines of code, oh well.

Hmmmm....Do you even know what that is? That "MOS 6510" will still be rockin' long after your PC is buried deep in the ground. BTW, did you even look to see who the OP was?
Boy this thread turned into a pile'o'crap pretty quickly...Sad!MOS 6510 rockin @ 1MHz!!!
