Okay I am lame I can't help it I love the show and have been chomping at the bit waiting for the new season to start. I don't know about this NCIS L.A.. I'll watch for a bit but I think they may have shot themselves in the foot airing it back to back with the original series.

Don't be scared. Who else has it bookmarked and the dvr set already?

I don't think likelystory have time to tell us what he love about the show and what other programs he is watching. He's busy making more after this one.

Agreed on the SOA Jam...caught a few episodes of the first season and have made sure to watch every one this season. Plan on buying the first season soon, it's definitely a one of a kind show.

My name is JRComp, and I approve this message.

I'm a fan of NCIS. Not a "gotta record every episode" fan but I'll watch it whenever time allows, including re-runs if nothing else is going on.

That said, I watched NCIS L.A. last night and found it to be so-so.

A few things had me wondering...

- The thing that made me go "What?" the loudest was the fact that they had just a few hours left before this major drug cartel operation was about to go down, plus find a little girl who at this point had already been deemed a "liability" to the bad guys, and they've got Callen trying on jeans! What?

- Here's another curious moment...

Callen was talking to the gardener (who, by the way, gave up an awful lot of information to a guy supposedly just looking for an apartment) when Sam Hanna started chasing the caddy without the plates. Just prior to Callen turning around to watch his partner run down the street, the gardener tells Callen that McQuire (?) had been picked up in a blue Tahoe. That's the last thing that the viewer hears. Then after Callan joins Hanna after the chase, he mentions that every morning the Tahoe brought McQuire back 3 hours later.

First off, when did that part of the conversation take place? Did Callen just continue chatting with the gardener while his partner was off chasing cars?

Second, how detail oriented is this gardener that he can recall how many people picked McQuire up, what type and color of truck it was, what time he was picked up *and* dropped off, and how long it had been going on for? Either this guy was casing the joint for a robbery or NCIS oughta hire him as an agent!

- How does a car get to drive around LA, making Bat Turns, with no plates and not get stopped?

- When Hanna meets the guy who was driving the unplated car he says "Nice hand brake turn". I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that that caddy didn't have a handbrake.

- Finally, what happened to Luis? The last time we see him is when Callen is holding his head while they lie on the ground. The next scene has Callen saving Hanna's life by shooting the bad guy in the back. (Good thing it wasn't a through-and-through or Hanna would be dead too.) Then they're talking to the daughter by the pool, who is calmly hanging out even after the gun shots and fight in the house. Is her dad dead? Handcuffed? What?

You know, the more I think about it, the more holes I can punch in that show.

I watch NCIS too. Both shows, like Derby said were just so-so last night. The unperturbed little girl mamzed me; 5 guys fighting and shooting didn't get her attention?

Did you see SOA last? I think Tara is slowly transforming into a biker tramp...not that there's anything wrong with that ;-)

First off I am not yet a big fan of NCIS La although I don't miss an episode of NCIS. That being said it is in La. Gunshots are supposedly a normal thing there or at least that is what the tv media wants the rest of the world to believe.

" How does a car get to drive around LA, making Bat Turns, with no plates and not get stopped?" Again this is La. There are more doughnut shops per capita than any other place on the face of this earth. As for the gardener, just because he speaks spanish doesn't mean he doesn't spend his nights watching NCIS, Criminal Minds, or CSI lol. Oh I haven't been in a Caddy yet that had a hand brake though.

I am hooked on the original. I was before Ziva. It took a bit for me to get over Mark Harmon not playing a beach bum or playboy of some sort but it took. I'll give the new show a little time.

Likely

I want to go like my grandfather did. Peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming at the top of my longs like the passangers in his car.
