Given that the adoption rate will be tied to the netbook market, I don't anticipate a boom market entry. Sure, Google might think it is easier to dominate the netbook market. However, that market may seem appealing now due to sales figures from early adopter and tech enthusiasts whereas the mass majority of market opportunity is with OS for desktop and regular-sized laptop computers. Let's face it, a netbook is really primarily for web browsing and email, which is something iPhones and similar gadgets can adequately provide. This is a slow and marginalized strategy to penetrate the overall OS market space.

I don't think the Google Chrome OS is anything to get excited about. Personally I'm going to keep right on using Windows as it is still the most widely used. The link seawatch gave is a little scary. I'm keeping my distance from Chrome. WinSimple Software CompTIA A+ Certified
