Has any one noticed the best answer (thumbs up) icon on the posts upper right corner.? Are we suppose to go back through the answer and select the correct answer or is it for the original poster or what?

Hey,
You aren't "supposed" to do anything. Its really up to you.
Notice, it actually says "Great Answer." You can vote for more than one per thread. Anyone can vote, not just the original poster. However, if you don't feel like voting, of course, you don't have to :)

Not so sure of the benefits and it hope it doesn't result in a point scoring culture around these parts. If it's for those googling in, then they might do better by reading all the posts.

Unsolved in whose opinion?
Some questions can never be "solved", some posters aren't happy with the solution offered, some questions just don't make any sense and requests for clarification go unanswered.
"Solved" vs. "Unsolved" can be a pretty grey area.

Instead of rating an answer as Best Answer Bad Answer No Answer (as in Yahoo Ask a Question) why don;t we just rate a post as an answer (or not an answer) to the question asked? HERE is the ground rule under which M$ community users provided feedback.
Summary: I agree that one cannot tell when someone is lying or not and/or whether they have bad intentions. I do not agree that telling someone how to access the BIOS is the same as telling someone how to by...
Summary: I think the new look works fine but I'd put an exclamation mark in the yellow triangle and shift it further right. That said, generally we have such short threads (with this one being a notable except...
