Zip Utility for Solaris 8 2/02

CPU/Ram: 2X440 2 GB

Hi All, does anyone know of a utility that will zip a file over 2.2 GB on Solaris 8 2/02 other then PKZIP. PKZIP works fine but it is $300.00 and I am only going to be keeping the machine another 3 to 4 months.

Yes use gzip from gnu.
You can get it at http://www.gnu.org/software/gzip/gzip.html
