zip error while adding file

I'm trying to zip database files. All files go well, execept one. Before this i made a mistake myself: zip source.dir/* target.zip then i entered the command propperly: zip target.zip source.dir/*
Then i get an error: zip warning: name not matched: source.dir/source.file
Anybody have a clue why i get this error?
Hope i can still startup the database. File seems unchanged (time stamp unchanged).
