Honestly, I would get the hard disk. One thing WinNT hates is sharing. Solaris is just as selfish. I am currently running a dual boot Solaris 9 and WinXP. The only way I got them to agree was to put them on separate disks. In fact, I had to remove on disk to install WinXP, and then switch disks to install S-9. Then, I put the disks on separate IDE channels. My MoBo allows me to boot from either channel, so when I need to change boot devices, I go into Bios. Only way I could get it to work, and I am running a Athlon 2600+ Barton with a gig of ddr400.

i do agree.......right now, i Have windows 2000 server (NTFS partition) and solaris 9 on the same HDD in harmony. But i want multi OS (windows 2000, solaris 9, linux 9).
with reference (http://www.netsys.com/library/papers/multiboot.pdf) from one of the article, i have to install windows 2000 first, later linux 9 & last solaris 9.....but i do not know how to change swap space in linux 9....please HELP ! more than buying a new HDD, i love to really do what's in the article.any way thx for your help Jacob.Richard
