Hello,

Please give more information!

Can you get IP adresses with nslookup?
Can you ping internet hosts using IPs?
Can you post your /etc/resolv.conf and your /etc/nsswitch.conf?

Sorry for the delayed response.
Iam still on to the same problem.Iam posting the details.pls guide me!

1)resolv.conf file is

dominname DBC.COM
search DBC.COM
nameserver 151.203.0.84
nameserver 151.202.0.84
#nameserver 155.1.49.6
#nameserver 155.1.49.118
#nameserver 192.168.0.6

2) more nsswitch.conf
#
# /etc/nsswitch.dns:
#
# An example file that could be copied over to /etc/nsswitch.conf; it uses
# DNS for hosts lookups, otherwise it does not use any other naming service.
#
# "hosts:" and "services:" in this file are used only if the
# /etc/netconfig file has a "-" for nametoaddr_libs of "inet" transports.

passwd: files
group: files

# You must also set up the /etc/resolv.conf file for DNS name

3)# nslookup
Default Server: boston1-qwest.bellatlantic.net
Address: 151.203.0.84

Server: boston1-qwest.bellatlantic.net
