My v480 has panicked and won't boot. I get the following message at the Ok prompt
Boot device: /pci@9,600000/SUNW,qlc@2/fp@0,0/disk@W500000eo106d2a11,0:a file and args : -rv
Corrected ECC errorHas any come across this before / got any ideas how to resolve the issue?
Any help appreciated

"Error Correction and Parity Checking
Error correcting code (ECC) is used on all internal system data paths to ensure high
levels of data integrity. All data that moves between processors, memory, and PCI
bridge chips have end-to-end ECC protection.
The system reports and logs correctable ECC errors. A correctable ECC error is any
single-bit error in a 128-bit field. Such errors are corrected as soon as they are
detected. The ECC implementation can also detect double-bit errors in the same
128-bit field and multiple-bit errors in the same nibble (4 bits).
In addition to providing ECC protection for data, the system offers parity protection
on all system address buses. Parity protection is also used on the PCI and SCSI
buses, and in the UltraSPARC III CPU’s internal and external caches."Basically you have to fix the device causing this error. It should have rebooted but since you say it won't then you can either disable it in openfirmware or test and replace the device(s) causing the error.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

If in ok prompt ecc error is coming that means the memory module in that server has become fail so use printenv in ok prompt
and in this see what is status of the variable
and set in to diag-level? max
diag-switch? true
using setenv command
after that reset-all
it will go to the diagnostic mode and showing which memory slot having problem
