Hi,

I am getting the following error:
/usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx: unable to get my IP address: gethostbyname(

I changed only the /etc/hosts file and added domain name to the hostname.

I have a standalone system which is not connected to the network. And getting this error only after changing the above mentioned file and rebooting.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Narendra
