Using Sendmail as MS Exchange..

Hi,
I would like to know if i can use sendmail on Solaris as Mail Server to send & receive mail like we use MS Exchange on Windows.

As long as the IMS service is pointed to the SMTP server, it should be fine.

One of the best free smtp servers is sendmail (sendmail.org) solaris should already have this running.

Make sure to clamp down the sun machine before putting it out there.

Also if you need to control it remotely, i would definitely install OpenSSH for secure transmissions (openssh.org) (free also)

thanx for ur suggestion. could u plz tell me how to config sendmail & openSSh. If possible can u plz send me a step by step detail, i would b higly greatful to u.
