I am using an X-Windows product and am able to X-Windows into a Solaris box - I am able to execute HP Openview in read only mode- is there a way of executing it in read write mode from an X-Windows Session ?

Thanks.

Are there multiple users using your map or HP app? If there is more than one user that uses the HPOV map/application, then it's usually the first person that opens it that gets read/write mode (and this can also depend upon the account).

This may or may not be relevant to what you're doing, my apologies if it's not.
