Hi all,

I have dual boot operating systems with solaris 8 as the active partition and windows xp. Now that i want to uninstall solaris from my system and want to install Redhat Linux 8 in place where i had solaris.

How can i do that without affecting the windows partition.... Thanks and Regards.

Just boot RedHat Linux using the first CD and when it asks you where you want to install it, point it to your Solaris partition. RedHat Linux will format it, erasing all your data, before installing it...
