I have a sunblade 2000 but when I type uname -a, it report it's a sunblade 1000. Why is that? Did someone sell me a sunblade 1000 in a blade 2000 case or is that normal?

Test it this way.

"the XIR feature is activated by pressing the power switch three times
within 1.5 seconds. When this is done, the Sun Blade 2000 system changes to the ok
prompt. This allows you to begin troubleshooting procedures immediately upon first
failure, improving time to resolution."

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

Thanks for the link. I just noticed it in the release notes as well that some of the older blade 2000's stil report as blade 1000's. Thanks again and your resposne was greatly appreciated. Just wanted to make sure I didn't get gipped during the transaction. Because it didn't come with any documentation.
