unable to eject cdrom in sun OS 2.6

OS: sun os 2.6
CPU/Ram: sparc 143 MHZ
Comment:

if i give # eject cdrom
or
# eject cdrom0
i get error
cdrom : No such file or directory
or
cdrom0: No such file or directory

Also iam unable to eject by pressing the physical button on the cd drive
Also there is no cd in the cd drive.
how t eject cdrom?

check if the cdrom is mounted or not, with command
#mount
, if you receive a answer , try
#umount /cdrom

be sure that you are NOT in /cdrom FileSystem

and then type
#eject cdrom
