If the root is damaged and i want to restore it without removing any newfiles that i have created after the dumping process, what can i do?

When i dumped root i used:
ufsdump 0ucf /dev/rmt/0 /

in the ufsrestore do an add of *.

Since the files are not in the dump they will not be restored ...
