tekram dc395uw card with solaris8 PC

I have a p2 350 with a tekram dc395x a scsi dvd and an ibm scsi disk. I succeed to boot solaris cd1 but I can't install the official tekram driver and solaris.
error message is :can not load dc395x.bef.
In fact when I add the driver he load only the dc395x.itu file into memory.If I modify the DCA diskette (I put the dc395x.bef on the good directory on the diskette).He seems to load the driver but the PC stay inactive during a while (30mn) and I stop the install.
somebody have experienced this scsi card on solaris 8? what is the tips to install driver on new box in order to install solaris 8
