I am trying to install a SMC Barricade broadband router on my Sparcstation 10. I can telnet from my Win PC through via my router into my sparcstation. I can not get onto the internet from my Sparcstation. I am using Hot Java as a browser. Can any walk me through the SunOS configuration for this router? Or, can you point me to a good web site with router setup info? Thanks for all, Paul.

You might need to create an /etc/defaultrouter file pointing to the address of your new router.

Alternatively you can run the following command: add route default "ROUTER IP"

type netstat -nr to check that the router IP is in the routing tables.

Not sure if that will work though. Worth a shot though huh ? hehe
